Tomorrow, Saturday, it’s that time again: the ‘Lange Nacht der Museen’ invites visitors to an evening of wonder and nocturnal strolling through Munich’s diverse museum landscape. More than 100 cultural institutions will open their doors on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. (a ticket is required). A rich accompanying program awaits, featuring numerous guided tours and special events.
We will also be participating with Alice and Schrödinger, the protagonists of our increasingly popular German-language PhotonLab audio play series ‘Alice im Quantenland’ (Alice in Quantumland), which will be featured as a live event at the Deutsches Museum. Following recent performances at the ‘Türen auf mit der Maus’ day at the Fakultät für Physik und Astronomie der Universität Würzburg and at the Münchner Wissenschaftstage / Forscha last weekend, there is now another opportunity to experience Episode 3: ‘Auf dem Quantenjahrmarkt’ in a live reading with Veit Ziegelmaier and Sofie Silbermann.

An audio play for young and old from the PhotonLab student laboratory
