The Advanced Multilayer Optics team warmly welcomes Vipulkumar Bhaliya. Vipul earned his Master’s degree in Optical Technologies from Leibniz University Hannover, where he specialized in optical coatings, with a focus on frequency tripling mirrors.
In his PhD research with Dr. Volodymyr Pervak’s group at LMU Munich, he will design and develop dispersive (chirped) mirrors covering the VUV to MIR spectral range. These advanced multilayer optics will enable breakthroughs in ultrafast and high-power laser systems, pushing the limits of pulse compression and control.
We are excited to have Vipul join the team and look forward to his contributions to the future of ultrafast optics.
