The field-resolved infrared spectroscopy (FRIS) group is happy to welcome Tauras Zigmantas to the team! Tauras is a Physics MSc student from Lithuania at LMU and will be doing his master’s thesis research focused on developing a 50 MHz Cr:ZnS laser and using amplified pulses for nonlinear conversion. He completed his bachelor’s thesis at Vilnius University, working at the Institute of Chemical Physics (MPI). The thesis focused on modeling fluorescence spectra using exact stochastic path-integral evaluation to benchmark complex time-dependent Redfield theory (ctR).
