The PhotonLab welcomes Moritz Dorband as a new member. With his physics doctorate coming to a close, he is now focusing on science communication. After finishing high school, Moritz worked in a small performance venue for a year. Moritz then conducted both his BSc and MSc in physics at the Julius-Maximilians University of Würzburg.
Moritz will be part of the PhotonLab, helping to get pupils excited about the work at the MPQ and physics in general. Moreover, he will work on building a quantum computer demonstrator to explain this new technology to the general public.
