Dr. Marija Marolt studied pharmacy at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, and completed her doctoral thesis at the Institute of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry at Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg, Germany. She used circular dichroism spectroscopy in the UV/Vis and IR region for studying cofactor-enzyme binding and for structural studies of small molecules. She later transitioned into clinical research where she led and supported the execution of clinical studies in various therapeutic areas and development phases. Her combined knowledge and interest in the clinical, medical and analytical field led her to join the Clinical Studies Team as a Senior Clinical Project Manager to support the development of a diagnostic procedure for early disease detection.
