Lorenzo Gatto has joined the Broadband Infrared Diagnostics group at Attoworld on July 1st. In close cooperation with Ioachim Pupeza's new group at the IPHT in Jena he will explore the feasibility of field resolved spectroscopy for fingerprinting of living cellular systems in flow-through.

Lorenzo comes from Milan. There he worked on time-resolved terahertz spectroscopy of perovskites and low-dimensional materials in a joint group between Politecnico di Milano and the Istituto di Fotonica e Nanotecnologie of the Italian National Research Council (CNR-IFN).
