The L4L clinical study team warmly welcomes Leo Jih-Liang Hsieh. Leo completed his PhD in 2025 at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. His doctoral research focused on implementing AI computation using femtosecond lasers with multimode fibers, as well as continuous-wave lasers combined with structural nonlinearity. At the BIRD-team, Leo will push the boundaries and potential of infrared molecular fingerprinting in human phenotyping. At the same time, he will accelerate the development of field-resolved mid-infrared spectroscopy platform to pioneer label-free flow cytometry.
