We are happy to welcome Prof. Dr. Julia (Iuliia) Yamnenko to the attoworld-team! Julia is joining us as Prof. Ferenc Krausz’s personal assistant for the research team and project management.
Julia completed her Bachelor in Electronic Systems and Master in Electronics at the National Technical University of Ukraine. She earned a PhD in Semiconductor Transformers of Electrical Energy and a DrSc in Electrotechnical Complexes and Systems, both from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
She has been the principal investigator of numerous national and international research projects. Julia is the vice President of the Ukrainian Academy of Engineering Sciences and a member of several professional and scientific organizations, as well as the editorial boards, program and steering committees of international conferences, and scientific societies.
From 2022 to 2025, Julia was a guest at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), a fellow of the TUM Institute for Advanced Study, and a fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
