The attosecond spectroscopy 2.0 team is excited to welcome Dario Ventura as a new PhD student.

Dario obtained his Master’s degree at Politecnico di Milano, where he conducted his thesis research at the Attosecond Research Centre in Milan under the supervision of Professor Mauro Nisoli. His work focused on the development and characterization of a beamline for attochemistry experiments, employing XUV–UV pulses in a pump-probe configuration.

As part of the attosecond spectroscopy 2.0 group, he plans to continue his research in ultrafast physics. His current focus is on the development of novel theoretical methodologies for attosecond spectroscopy. These efforts aim to deepen the understanding of ultrafast physical phenomena, whose fundamental insights hold significant potential for future advancements in both physics and technology.

We wish him a smooth start in Germany and all the best for his doctoral journey.
