The "Field-resolved Infrared Spectroscopy Team" welcomes Daiki Okazaki and Mojtaba Aghakasiri.

Daiki did his PhD in Engineering at the University of Tokyo, where he worked with Prof. Ashihara on the development of Cr:ZnS mid-infrared lasers for vibrational spectroscopy. He holds currently a position as assistant professor at the Institute for Chemical Research in Kyoto. He visits the attoworld team for a one-year postdoc to develop the generation and detection of THz pulses based on Cr:ZnS oscillators.

Mojtaba did his bachelor in electrical engineering at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, and continued his master studies in the Max-Planck School of Photonics at the Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. He joined us to do his master thesis, in which he will work together with Daiki on the development of Cr:ZnS-based THz technology.
