The Attosecond Spectroscopy 2.0 team is excited to welcome Christian Schröder as a new member. Chris completed his doctorate in Physics at Technische Universität München, working on attosecond spectroscopy of molecular and solid-state systems.
He then joined the group of Stephen R. Leone at the University of California Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. There, under funding from Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, he studied photochemical processes utilizing ultrafast soft x-ray spectroscopy with femtosecond resolution.
Chris joins the Attosecond Spectroscopy 2.0 group as a postdoc and plans to advance optical field metrology for the newly developed attosecond light sources towards use in molecular spectroscopy.
