The ATTO-team warmly welcomes Briana Cigan. She is starting her masters studies on the use of a ‘high-repetition-rate amplified laser to generate self-compressed attosecond solitons’ and ‘deep-ultraviolet resonant-dispersive-waves’. Briana is originally from Romania, and did her bachelor’s studies at the University of Groningen, writing her thesis on magnetic field analysis for the NL-eEDM measurement of the electron’s electric dipole moment in the Netherlands. She is now pursuing her masters in physics at the LMU Munich.
