More than 130 participants from four continents were welcomed to a week-and-a-half-long summer school and a three-day conference at Semmelweis University. The series of events focused on biomedical data science and featured presentations by international experts, including Dr. Kosmas Kepesidis of the attoworld-team. Kosmas presented his research with Prof. Dr. Ferenc Krausz. The first large-scale, tradition-setting international event of the Institute of Biostatistics and Network Science, founded last October, was attended by MSc and PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, physicians, professionals interested in health data science, and corporate representatives.
