Congratulations Mariia! Mariia Seleznova, a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Gitta Kutyniok’s group and a guest scientist in the Data Science research group at Attoworld, has been awarded an Emmy Noether Grant from the German Research Foundation (DFG). The Emmy Noether Programme is one of Germany’s most prestigious funding schemes for early-career researchers and is widely regarded as an important milestone on the path to full academic independence.
The award is a remarkable achievement and a strong recognition of Seleznova’s outstanding research and scientific potential. Through the grant, she will establish her own independent junior research group focusing on the mathematical foundations of modern artificial intelligence systems.
With the Emmy Noether Grant, Seleznova joins a select group of researchers whose work is expected to shape the future of their fields. Her group, which is planned to be established at TU Darmstadt, promises to make important contributions at the intersection of mathematics and AI, advancing the foundations needed for more dependable intelligent systems.
