Nathalie Nagl is honoured with the Otto Hahn Medal of the Max Planck Society for the year 2021. The Otto Hahn Medal is awarded in recognition of outstanding achievements from the initial creative period of young scientists.
The prize is awarded for the development of femtosecond lasers in the mid-infrared spectral range, which will greatly accelerate the wider adoption of novel spectroscopy techniques to biomedical settings.
The Medal will be awarded to Nathalie on the occasion of the Annual Meeting of the Max-Planck-Society at the meeting of the Chemistry, Physics and Technology Section in Berlin on Wednesday 22 June, 2022.
