The Korean television broadcaster EBS transformed Ferenc Krausz’s office at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics in Garching into a film studio. Two hours of footage were shot there in mid-June for the educational series ‘Great Minds.’ The ‘Great Minds’ series profiles outstanding figures from the worlds of science and research. They offer insights into the major challenges facing the international community. These include topics such as the challenges of artificial intelligence, ecology, global trade, medicine, and much more.
The footage is divided into approximately 20-minute lectures by Ferenc Krausz. These will then be broadcast over the course of one week, on five consecutive days. The recorded episode focuses on the work of Ferenc Krausz, particularly his research and its significance for future developments in ultrashort-time physics and medicine.
The broadcast is scheduled for December.
