Akash Singh just defended his master thesis on the “Application of Microfluidics for Molecular Fingerprinting”. In his thesis, he worked on the microfluidic control and procedures for the high-throughput measurements of human blood samples with our latest field-resolved infrared spectroscopy systems. The thesis was co-supervised by Dr. Alexander Weigel and Dr. Igor Kukhtevich from the Attoworld FRIS team and Prof. Ferenc Ender from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). He successfully defended his master thesis at BME in front of his supervisors and the university examination committee.
Akash will continue to work in the FRIS team as a junior microfluidic scientist, with a focus on further developing the fluidic system and automation for our new field-resolved infrared fingerprinting systems.
