Big party in Garching. The attoworld team celebrated the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics with around 150 guests. The Nobel Prize medal and the beautifully designed award certificate were on display at an atmospheric dinner at Gasthaus Neuwirth. And this was duly celebrated. "It was a long and eventful road to the Nobel Prize," said Ferenc Krausz in his speech. "This prize is not an award for one scientist alone. Our research is teamwork. You all deserve a share of this prize. I would like to thank everyone who has walked this path with me over the years."
The celebrations continued well into the night with music and dancing. The echoes of the Nobel Prize will surely last for a long time.
