From July 28 to August 8, 2025, Semmelweis University in Budapest will be the meeting place for the international biomedical data science community. The Summer School (28 July - 5 August) is aimed at young researchers and offers an intensive program on topics such as bioinformatics, machine learning and medical data analysis. This will be followed by the international conference from August 6 to 8, where leading scientists will discuss current developments and applications.
A special highlight is the joint keynote lecture by Nobel Prize winner Ferenc Krausz and Kosmas Kepesidis on Wednesday, July 30 at 4 p.m. on the topic:
“HEALTH MONITORING AND EARLY DISEASE DETECTION: Artificial intelligence teams up with cutting-edge physical metrology”
