The FRIS-team welcomes Adam Britel as a new member. Adam graduated with a double master's degree in Optics and Photonics from Aix-Marseille University in France and the Karlsruhe School of Optics and Photonics in Germany.

He later joined the solid-state physics group at the University of Torino in Italy as a “Marie Curie” PhD candidate within the LaslonDef ITN European project. Throughout his tenure there, he made valuable research contributions focused on the development of microfluidic systems, advanced biophysical sensors, and ion-beam-based strategies for innovative artificial diamond devices.

In the FRIS-team, Adam will work as a microfluidic scientist. He will focus on developing ultra-reproducible microfluidic sample handling systems for infrared spectroscopy and early disease detection.
