With his picture of Keyhan Golyari, Matthew Weidman captured the new everyday life in the attosecond laboratories at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics. The scientists also wear masks in front of their faces in the laboratories. But despite the difficulties, our research continues. With meetings, seminars, conferences and even lectures being held online, virtual solutions for teaching, learning, and networking have become commonplace and there is never a dull moment. Although the work in the laboratories has slowed down in the last few months, we are thankful that we have been able to stay connected, continue to exchange ideas and continue our work in the laboratory, at the forefront of attosecond science!
