The “LASER World of PHOTONICS 2025” is currently underway in Munich and runs through Friday. With more than 1,300 exhibitors from over 40 countries, it’s the world’s leading trade fair for photonics technologies. The event offers a comprehensive overview of current trends – from fundamental research to industrial applications – in areas such as laser technology, optics, quantum tech, medical diagnostics, communications, and advanced manufacturing.
And of course “Ultrafast Innovations (UFI)” and “Pulsed” are also represented with compelling presentations. On display are UFI's high-end optics and ultrashort pulse systems. Pulsed is presenting the “Albatross” laser, the first single-cycle pulse source at oscillator repetition rates. Especially impressive are the stable IR waveforms spanning more than three octaves – ideal for time-resolved spectroscopy and sub-cycle IR optoelectronics.
It’s great to see technologies from the Attoworld environment getting more and more international visibility. If you’re at the fair, be sure to stop by their booths!
