Julia Anthea Gessner was awarded the Tingye Li Innovation Prize, based on her submitted work for the CLEO Conference. Julia is working on her doctoral thesis at the Laboratory for Attosecond Physics. Her talk will be about "Ultrafast Charge and Spin Dynamics in Ferromagnets", held online on Friday 15th May at 5.30 PM. The Tingye Li Innovation Prize, established in 2013, honors the global impact Dr. Li made on the field of optics and photonics. This prize will be presented to an early career professional who has demonstrated innovative ideas in their accepted presentation during the Optical Fiber Communication (OFC) Conference or the CLEO Conference.
